I took this image a few weeks ago alongside Suzhou Creek in Shanghai. The early afternoon sun was just right and gave a great color to the river and highlighted the details of the partly demolished building and yellow graffiti on the wall. The buildings are completely gone now and a new construction project already started.

Chinese characters are so beautiful, i’d think they’d figure prominently in street art/graffiti, so i’m a little surprised to see western chartacters being used instead…
Wonderful photograph.
Thank you my friend
..like everything now, the youth of China is also influenced by western styles
You’ve made an impressive record of circumstances that will never again exist.
Changes so fast, its difficult to have time to keep up!
Beautiful colors….”Urban Past in Yellow”!
